Prices are a range because the same job costs differently on acetate, metal and rimless frames. We quote before we start, and we do not start until you say yes.

What We Cannot Fix

A scratched lens cannot be repaired — the coating is gone and polishing it changes the power. A frame broken in two places rarely survives a weld. Shattered lenses must be replaced, not mended.

In all three cases the honest answer is new lenses in your existing frame. We will say so rather than take the money.

How It Works

  1. Send a photograph — On WhatsApp. Show the break, and the frame from the front. We will tell you if it is worth bringing in.
  2. We quote — Usually within the hour during shop hours. Including whether the repair is worth doing at all.
  3. Bring it in — Most repairs are done at the counter while you wait. We will call you if a job needs more time.

Common Questions

Do you repair frames bought elsewhere?

Yes. We repair any frame from any brand or store. The only question is whether the repair is technically possible and worth the cost — we will tell you honestly before we start.

How long do repairs take?

Most repairs — hinges, screws, nose pads, alignment — are done while you wait at the counter. Soldering and drilling jobs that need specialist tools take 2 – 4 days. We will give you a clear timeline when you bring the frame in.

Do I need to book an appointment?

No appointment needed for repairs. Walk in during opening hours. If you want to confirm we can handle your specific break before making the trip, send a photo on WhatsApp first.

What if the repair fails?

We only take on repairs we are confident will hold. If a repair fails within a reasonable time due to our workmanship, we redo it at no charge. We will tell you upfront if a frame is too damaged to repair reliably.
